About Us
Hello and welcome to our website, we are Debbie & Darrell Wilson, we both welcome you to Ayashe Alaskan Malamutes, a small kennel based in Lancashire, North West England. We have owned Alaskan Malamutes now for 6 years, our first malamute being Chayo Princess Diamond, our beautiful silver and white bitch came to us in 2002 from the highly successful Chayo Alaskan Malamute Kennel.
Backpacking
All of our dogs are first and foremost our pets, one of our favourite activities with them is backpacking, getting out and about in the pine forests and visiting the beaches, we all have lots of fun and the dogs thoroughly enjoy it.Biking
We also love to work our dogs on the bike up to 3 times a week, for about an hour each session, with the Alaskan Malamute being a working breed; we feel it is important for this type of exercise for mental stimulation as well as a physical challenge for them.
Showing
Sabu has been very lightly shown and clearly not interested prefering more to 'woo woo' everybody!!!Alaska came 3rd in her minor puppy class at the Alaskan Malamute club show (1st AMCUK championship show 2006) She has started ringcraft classes and will be back in the ring very soon.
Litters
We only breed the occasional litter, all of our puppies are KC registered with endorsements placed, all new owners must agree to and sign a contract to safeguard their future, we always take a puppy/dog back if the new owners are unable to keep them for any reason. All of our dogs are health screened and we are committed to the utmost care and dedication to produce quality, healthy puppies that conform to the breed standard.
Helpful information
If you are looking in to the Alaskan Malamute breed - please read our breed information page, buying a puppy of any breed is a 10 - 15 year commitment that can be very rewarding or can develop in to a negative experience. It is our purpose to help you make an educated decision so you can experience all the enjoyment possible with your Alaskan Malamute if it is the right breed for you. So often people fall in love with a cute puppy for all the wrong reasons and end up with a lot of heartache. Knowing as much as possible about the breed you choose only makes sense. We hope some of the information on our website will help you with your choice. If you have any questions please feel free to contact us.
Thank you for visiting us, we hope you enjoy looking around our website, dont forget to sign our guestbook so we know that you have visited us.
Best wishes
Debbie & Darrell
